Frequently asked questions
Everything agencies ask us about how InsuranceAgency.AI connects to your systems, protects your data, learns how your team works, and what early access looks like.
Getting started
Do I have to replace my AMS?
No. InsuranceAgency.AI is AMS-agnostic. It works as an operating layer on top of your existing AMS, so there’s no migration and no disruption to how your team works today. If you’re already a Momentum AMP customer, your data is there from day one. If you use a different AMS, IAAI connects with one additional integration step through API, browser integration, or direct data access. Once connected, it works the same way no matter which system you started with.
Do I need to be technical or know how to write prompts to use this?
No. You don’t need to write prompts or understand AI to use InsuranceAgency.AI. Upload your documents, connect your tools, and the platform gets to work. We built it for agency owners and their staff, not developers.
Is there training required for our staff?
There is no complex software to learn. Your team asks for what they need in plain language, and the platform handles the steps behind it. Most training is about showing your team what is possible, not how to operate a new system.
How long does it take to get up and running?
Most agencies are working inside the platform within days, not months. Onboarding focuses on connecting the systems you already use and loading your SOPs and preferences so the platform reflects how your agency operates from day one.
Who on our team should use it first?
Start with the people carrying the most repetitive work, usually service and account management. Once the platform has learned those workflows, expanding it to producers and leadership is straightforward.
How it works
How does InsuranceAgency.AI learn our workflows and SOPs?
InsuranceAgency.AI builds a profile of your agency by analyzing your interactions, preferences, and patterns over time. You can also upload your own SOPs, procedures, and guardrails directly into the platform. Think of it as a private knowledge base that belongs entirely to your agency. The AI references it continuously to understand how your operation runs and adjusts its behavior to match.
What systems does InsuranceAgency.AI integrate with?
InsuranceAgency.AI is built on an open API ecosystem and is designed to connect with a wide range of AMS platforms, carrier portals, CRMs, and third-party data sources. Connections are made via API, browser-based integrations, and agentic tools depending on the system. For platforms that do not have open APIs, the platform uses agentic browser technology to push and pull data directly. The goal is to be the last integration layer your agency needs.
Can it fill out ACORD forms automatically from uploaded data?
Yes. Upload your data, and InsuranceAgency.AI generates the ACORD forms for you. It also prompts you when a form is due.
Can I manage multiple sub-agencies or locations in one account?
Yes. You can manage multiple locations or sub-agencies from a single account, with separate access settings for each one.
What happens when the platform is unsure about a task?
Work that falls outside what it has learned, or that requires judgment, is routed back to your team with the context already gathered. You stay in control of what gets automated and what requires a human decision.
Does it replace our team?
No. It removes the administrative weight that keeps your team from client work, growth, and the tasks that genuinely need a person. The goal is more capacity, not fewer people.
Security and data
How does InsuranceAgency.AI keep our data secure and private?
Each agency operates within its own private environment. Your agency’s data, SOPs, and interactions are stored securely and are not shared across other agencies. Your knowledge base is yours. Private, agency-specific, and accessible only to your team.
Is our data used to train models for other agencies?
No. Your agency’s data and knowledge base stay inside your private environment and are never used to train shared models or surfaced to other agencies.
Who can see our knowledge base?
Only your team. Access is controlled by your agency, and your SOPs, documents, and interaction history remain yours.
Can I control which team members have access to which features?
Yes. Permissions mirror your existing access controls. You can limit which users see or interact with specific features, data, or workflows based on their role.
Will my E&O insurance cover mistakes an AI agent makes?
Most E&O policies already cover work your agency performs using standard business tools, and AI-assisted tasks typically fall under that same coverage. Every carrier’s policy is different, so confirm the specifics with your own E&O provider.
